PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project consists of upgrading of the existing two-story building of about 100,000 square feet of Vivarium and Bio Laboratories to meet Bristol-Myers Squibb standards and requirements. This also includes the installation of the Tenant separation wall on the second floor. Demolition and installation of install new walls, ceiling, and finishes, including electrical and mechanical to support the new layout and requirements. This also includes the installation of new mechanical equipment behind the existing roof screen. Install new screen patio yard at the break room. Upgrade of the existing building to meet California Building code 2010 as well as fire, mechanical, electrical code, Green Building Code 2010, and California energy standards.
Wet Laboratory (Rooms: warm-robotic-freezer-cryo-dark-media prep-glass wash-tissue culture, fume hoods, etc.). 47,947 sq. ft. Vivarium (holding rooms, quarantine, surgical suite, irradiator room, cage wash, necropsy lab/down draft tables,). 13,234 sq. ft. clean room. 5,046 sq. ft. Shipping and receiving docks, 4000 amps, 1250 KW Emergency Generator, DI water system, clean dry air, Data Center, Nortel phone system.
