PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A new three (3) floor Library and Learning Resource Center/Student Services Building construction for the Cañada College campus. The new 72,000-square-foot building allows the library collections to expand and greatly enhances the instructional programs offered by the Learning Resource Center. The LRC includes tutorial and writing centers, computers, and offices for instructors and faculty. The building's location will place these resources at the heart of the campus. The building itself will provide a new point of entry, linking the student parking lots to the campus quad via the building's elevators and terraces. The first level of the building will consolidate student services to improve access to admissions and records, counseling services, financial aid, placement testing, and programs for students with disabilities.
