Position Summary
Dabri, Inc. is seeking experienced Owner Authorized Representatives (OAR II) / Construction Project Managers to support large educational and public sector capital improvement programs. The selected candidates will manage and oversee all phases of assigned construction projects, including pre-construction, procurement, construction administration, project controls, contract management, change order review, budget oversight, schedule management, stakeholder coordination, and project closeout.
This role requires strong leadership, construction management expertise, and experience delivering complex public works, educational, commercial, or institutional projects while maintaining project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from planning and design through construction and closeout.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and public agencies.
- Review construction schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contractor claims.
- Monitor project budgets, cost controls, payment applications, and financial performance.
- Support contract administration and procurement activities.
- Oversee construction progress, quality control, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) delivery and installation.
- Manage project closeout activities, including DSA certification and financial closeout.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and executive-level project updates.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with District requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following:
Option 1
- 10 years of professional construction and/or project management experience.
- 5 years managing complex projects exceeding $10 million in construction value.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
OR
Option 2
- 15 years of professional construction and/or project management experience.
- 15 years managing complex projects exceeding $10 million in construction value.
- Degree preferred but not required.
CCM Certification may substitute for the education requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Educational facility, public works, or large commercial construction experience.
- Design-Build project experience.
- Building Information Modeling (BIM) experience.
- LEED and/or CHPS project experience.
- Division of the State Architect (DSA) experience.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Strong contract administration, cost management, and project controls experience.
Preferred Licenses & Certifications
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- California Registered Architect (RA)
- California Professional Engineer (PE)
- LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP)
- OSHA 30 Certification
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $130,000 – $170,000 per year (DOE)
