Position Overview
Dabri is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) – Owner’s Representative to support improvement projects at the Southeast Water Pollution Control Plant in San Francisco.
This role represents the Owner in overseeing electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems to ensure all work complies with contract requirements, applicable codes, and quality standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, field experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, designers, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Owner’s Representative for QA/QC oversight of electrical and/or mechanical systems
- Monitor installation of electrical systems (medium/low voltage, switchgear, conduits, I&C) and/or mechanical systems (piping, pumps, valves, treatment equipment)
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and applicable codes
- Review submittals, RFIs, and contractor deliverables
- Witness testing, commissioning, and system start-up activities
- Identify deficiencies and ensure timely corrective actions
- Maintain detailed QA/QC reports and documentation
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and agency representatives
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC, construction management, or inspection on infrastructure projects
- Experience with water/wastewater treatment plant projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of applicable electrical and/or mechanical codes and standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Valid California Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- ICC Electrical and/or Mechanical Certification
- Experience with medium voltage systems, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning
- Experience with I&C systems and start-up
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000 annually (Denpend on Experience and certifications)
