PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project is located in the remote area of the Sunol-Ohlone Regional Wilderness. The project scope includes the construction of a soldier pile wall for land stabilization, 27,000 SF soil nail wall for new fish ladder/fish intake structures, 30,000 CY forebay excavation, 300 LF fish ladder, and fish intake structure (8,000 CY of concrete), diversion structure with intake manifold for conveyance to Alameda Creek diversion tunnels, water control gates, new control building with SCADA systems and VSAT tower, modifications to existing sluiceways and construction of a 3rd sluiceway. The additional project scope includes Geary Road improvements (3.4-mile access road to project site) at four specific locations comprised of slope stabilization/grading, culvert crossing upgrades, road widening., dewatering monitoring frequency, dewater permit, 1-29; USACE 404 Permit;
